Collection and Use of Personal Information

Baahdy & Birdy AS, this website and the Baahdy & Birdy app on Google Play and Apple Store, does not collect or store any personal information, in any way it can be traced back to the user. Baahdy & Birdy app on Google Play and Apple Store uses your device GPS/Localization service to give notification of nearby museums, attractions and other places relevant for travel and tourism. Only when the app is in use it can use GPS/Localization, by asking you for this permission prior to using the app and only when the app is in foreground.

However, we use analytics programs such as Google Analytics to give us feedback - such as the number of users, device OS, error logs & number of times each screen in our application is viewed. Any data that passes between the Baahdy & Birdy app and Google Analytics is shared in anonymous form. Our app allows you to turn off the analytics from the settings screen if you wish to do so. Any data collected is not sold or shared with anyone outside or affiliated with Baahdy & Birdy AS.

Google Analytics with anonymized IP (Google Inc.)

Google Analytics is a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. Google utilizes the Data collected to track and examine the use of this Application, to prepare reports on its activities and share them with other Google services. This integration of Google Analytics anonymizes your IP address. It works by shortening Users' IP addresses within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the complete IP address be sent to a Google server and shortened within the US. A technical explanation of IP anonymization in Google Analytics is provided here.
